Animorphs: Freefall

A picture combining 2 of my passions - Animorphs and skydiving!
Basically, it's scene from my fanific...which has not yet been written, but hopefully someday will be!

Two Animorphs (OCs) have been involved in a harsh battle aboard a Yeerk-infested aeroplane, in an attempt to rescue a Yeerk who is a member of the Peace Movement, and is being held prisoner by Visser 3. The Yeerk is being kept in a small silver container. During the fight, the door is blown open by a stray Dracon beam, causing the case to fall to Earth. The Animorphs need that Yeerk alive, and for that to happen, it needs to have wings - or at least be in the head of something that as able to grow them.

Cue a morph-capable skydiver (oh yeah - they're commonplace! But at least she's not a Mary Sue as well - honest!) Nicole, who's job is to get totally hypoxic, leap out of a (ok, not quite-so-perfectly-good) aeroplane, freefall head-down to get level with the case, track and maybe do a few turns if necessary to catch it, get stable, infest herself with the Yeerk and morph to hawk... all from 40,000 feet. Totally impossible, and that's just the freefall bit. Ah well, it's fanfiction. It's meant to be unbelieveable. Hey - according to K A Applegate, it takes about two minutes to fall 300 meters!!! (Read book #3!)

Oh, and the case is tricky to open... 2 people are needed to open the damn thing Cue "non-quite-a-paratrooper" ex-army officer Animorph Philip Lawless to do a bit of RW.

What a life to save the world, huh?
