Yeah, we're a nation seeped in history! Our city dates back to Roman times, but there's plenty more... for example no'one really knows how old Stonehenge is!!
It's cool though cos many of the old buildings are still just as much in use as they were then - including some 17th century pubs and inns that are still in use (and quite popular with the college students!) today!
Wow I haven't been to Ye Olde Fighting Cocks for yeeeeears! Not since I was a little kid! (And the doorways would have seemed high then anyway lol, so I can't really rememeber!)
I like those tiny archways in the clock towers though!
